Jane Austin would have loved these!  Her heroines were feminine yet strong, resilient yet enchanting.  Yes, I believe I can safely say Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice), Elinor Dashwood (Sense & Sensibility), Emma Woodhouse (Emma), and others would unanimously approve.  And if it's been awhile since you've had a good read, Jane's stories are waiting!
